Verdensteatret: Selected Mistakes–Recent Works 2000-2011
Verdensteatret’s numerous installations, performances, and art-related projects set forth an imposing and seductive audio-visual world of theater, animation, shadow play, electronic music, and kinetic sculpture. Selected Mistakes–Recent Works 2000-2011 visually documents five of Verdensteatret’s major works including And All the Question Marks Started to Sing (2010), Louder (2007), The Telling Orchestra (2004 – 2006), Concert for Greenland (2003-2005), and Tsalal (2000 – 2002). The catalogue accompanied the New York premiere of And All the Question Marks Started to Sing, FuturePerfect’s 2011 inaugural event co-presented with Dance Theater Workshop and Performance Space 122. The catalogue features the essay Flotsam of the Future by Jon Refsdal Moe, translated by Alison Bullock Aarsten. Includes 34 color illustrations.
